(More customer reviews)I received my BowWowBag on August 13 and was extremely pleased with the product. It was very easy to attach to the leash and the small size was perfect. The small bag holds my cell phone, keys, hand sanitizer and plenty of doggie bags. It is so great not having to worry about grabbing a doggie bag on your way out the door. It is also nice to stop and chat with your neighbors and not be standing there holding a bag of dog poop in your hand!
Much to my dismay the drawstring broke on August 15. I emailed [...] on a Saturday night thinking that I would probably never hear from anyone. Within an hour I had a response and was informed that my bag would be replaced and that I would also receive another bag with one of their new designs. On Tuesday I not only received my replacement bag, but two more bags, each with a different design and a mini bag, along with a handwritten apology! Best customer service response I have ever gotten from a company.
This product is a must have for anyone who walks their dog!

Outward Hound Sling-go-Pet - BLACK Review

(More customer reviews)I am convinced the reason it is so difficult to find this product in pet stores (one even told me they didn't think these were made anymore), is because it would make so many other much more expensive (and more cumbersome) ways of porting a small dog around obsolete! I'm not talking about when you need to have the puppers enclosed (like on a bus or plane),
but if you're looking to go marsupial with your best-beloved bud, for a quick run to the mailbox in the rain, or anytime you want to keep 'em close and comfy -- and not burden your back over-much -- this is the one! I have hunt around and spent bucks, but neither I nor mine is happier with any other one than this. (Don't you think Outward-Hound should send me a free one now...? No? Oh well, that's okay :)
By the way, my dog is a Pekingese who now weighs about 12 lbs and she fits just about right -- but you wouldn't want to go much heavier.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this bag before heading on vacation because I wanted a hands free way to carry my 7 pound Morkie around. If I could make one suggestion, it would be that it was made in different colors/prints (even though he doesn't know it was pink, I would have liked a different color one :) )My puppy LOVES his bag, will climb into it if I leave it on the floor and never hesitates when I put him inside. It carries his weight well (feels like Im carrying nothing) and there is plenty of room for him in there. He loves that he can sit up and see what it going on and then has plenty of room to lay down and relax. There is alot of mesh-y areas for the bag to breathe as well. Its made of sturdy materials and was money well spent!

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my min pin who just loves being held but at 14 lbs is a little too heavy for me to carry around everywhere. This wrap solves that problem. He loves being close to my body and my hands are free to do whatever.
There was no specific sizing information available on this page when I ordered so I think I bought it too big but I'm impatient and didn't want to wait to exchange it. So for others who are reading this, here is what their website ([...])/the carrier box says about sizing: XS = women's size 0-4, Men's suit size NA; S carrier = women's size 6-8, men's suit size up to 38; M carrier = women's 10-12, men's 39-42; L carrier = women's 14-16, men's 43-46; XL carrier = women's 18-22, men's 47-50. If you are 5'4" or under: CHOOSE SMALLER SIZE; Only choose larger size if you are 6 feet or taller.
Otherwise, I like the fact that the carrier is washable and it folds up small so it can be shoved in a purse easily to take on a trip. It does take some practice to figure out/remember the positions but there are instructions with helpful pictures in the manual that comes with the carrier. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because since the material is so flexible, it gets twisted up easily and can be difficult to untwist/adjust while on your body. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this carrier to others with small dogs who enjoy being held close to their owners.

East Side Collect Pet Sling - Chestnut/Sherpa Review

(More customer reviews)This is fantastic for my mini Pomeranian. He is very clingy and wants to be with me always and this does the trick. However, he is only about 2 lbs and the product info says the sling can hold an 8lb dog. I'm not so sure about that. Once the sling is on you... I think an 8lb dog would be far to large to fit the poor guy. But that's just my 2 cents.

(More customer reviews)This item was for sure, not what I was expecting, however at no fault of the manufacturer or shipper. In fact, the shipper super expedited the order after it was shipped, and then somehow returned to them. My ETA for product was 4/5- 4/8. It came today.
That said, I opened the package up, only to find that this wonderfully colorful soft material that my new Chihuahua rescue loves to lay on, is not really safe for her. The product works basically like a baby sling, only down at the hip, vs. holding baby closer to the chest. My new fur baby was so uncomfortable in the sling, I had to take her out pretty quickly. She was able to stand on her hind legs and reach up to me no problem, which means she would be able to jump out of it and onto the ground no problem as well. With her not having all her shots, it's really important to me that she not be on the ground too much unless we're going potty. This sling won't work for us, but it will fit in the stroller that shipped today as a little blanket quite nice once I cut the seem and re-stitch it to lay flat.

(More customer reviews)I normally don't write reviews but for the sake of all the pet lovers out there, I'll give them a heads up on the product before they end up buying it. I have a Yorkie who is ~ 7 lbs. I looked around various other pet slings and thought perhaps this might work for his smaller size (after reading other web reviews on this product). Unfortunately after I received the product, I put my dog in only to find that he slides around in it (the ends have a large pocket of space-- too much actually) and that he's unable to stick his head out (as many dogs naturally tend to do) while trying to lie down comfortably in it. Your best bet is to go with another product if you have a smaller breed. Otherwise, it's an alright product. So, as for me...the search continues for a better/smaller sling for my toy breed. Hope this helps!

This puts her close to me and lets me have my hands free. We watched the 4th of July parade and Belle was scared a couple times but she just ducked in side her "pocket" as we call it and all was well! I really like the across the shoulder style as it takes the weight off my back.

(More customer reviews)I was disappointed when I received this sling. It advertised that it would hold a pet up to 20 pounds. When I received and opened, it said right on the tag accommodates dogs to 12 pounds! My Japanese chin is 11 pounds and it seems quite uncomfortable for him. It is usable but not comfortable. It doesn't seem like it would be comfortable for a smaller dog either. It is long and thin. My dog takes up only a small portion of the bag because his body just squishes to one side in it! Maybe if it were deeper? I think he would be more comfortable in one of my own pocketbooks. Very odd shape for carrying a dog. Also, the little pocket in the front in very cheesy looking .

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag for my 8 lb chihuahua mix and I love it. It has several pockets for my wallet, poo bags, keys etc. It basically doubles as a purse which is something that I've had a hard time finding in a dog carrier.
When I got the bag the packaging said it was for pets 7 lbs or under, but as I said my dog is 8 lbs and fits well (although I don't think I would put a larger dog in there). The bottom of the bag does not have any stiff support, so I can understand why the weight limit is so light, it forces the dog to either sit or lie down because they can't really stand in it. There is more than enough room for my pup in the bag. It's really nice for outings when I might be going into stores that want her in a bag. It functions more like a sling carrier than an actual purse type bag.
It also frees up my hands for other things. I can put my pup in the bag and put it over my shoulder (the strap has a padded section that slides so it's quite comfortable) and not have to worry about her jumping out. There is a built in collar clip also.
Overall this is a wonderful bag. My money was well spent.
