(More customer reviews)My daughter picked out this cage for her 2 dwarf hamsters. The second night she had them, one of the hamsters managed to get her head between the bars by the clip on the door. Although the bars in most of the cage are close enough together to be safe, there is a space beside the clip on each of the doors where a dwarf hamster can get her head out. The hamster died. We have since taped up the area around the clip to prevent the second hamster from doing the same. The other hamster seems to be enjoying the cage, but she misses her sister! (Also the wheel is very noisy-- you'll want to buy the Silent Spinner or other quieter wheel.)

(More customer reviews)This cage is very good! except for the wheel that it comes with, it makes a lot of noise and it's not big enough for regular sized hamsters (ex. teddy bear hamsters), and also it doesn't have a cup where the droppings go, so it flies out, i recommend a silent wheel. Besides that the cage is perfect; Cookie, my teddy bear hamster, loves his home and it's great to connect with a lot of tubes and connect with more cages. I don't recommend the cage for robo hamsters, I have 2 so I know. Also the water bottle that it comes with leaks A LOT, so get a different one. Great cage, bad accessories :) hope that helps.
