(More customer reviews)I have a large icrate with a divider panel. I do love this crate, however the hooks and edges are very sharp. Today I took the divider panel out so I could collapse the crate to give to friend who is watching my puppy while I'm out of town. I leaned the panel against the bedroom door and my puppy came up to investigate. As she backed up, a hook went COMPLETELY THROUGH HER EYELID. After a couple seconds of her screaming in pain I managed to get her calm enough to carefully slide the hook back out and rush her to the vet. Fortunately the hook did not injure her eye but she has a bloody gash in her eyelid and it's very swollen. She's going to have to be on antibiotics for the next week. Vet visit cost $120, half of which was for the emergency status of the visit and the other half for the antibiotics. The hooks need to be rounded off or filed down.

Dog Digs Tan Large 36x24x30" Review

(More customer reviews)This is the second canine cooler bed I've purchased. My first dog never liked the first bed I purchased, so I gave it to a friend's dog who loved it! Actually, he loved it too much and ended up rupturing it. These beds are made of heavy duty vinyl, but I can't recommend them for bigger breeds who like to dig at their bedding.
Anyway... Before I gave the first bed away, I used to lay on it on the floor after doing yard work in hot weather; and I can honestly say this item works. There is a definite cooling sensation, not to mention the cushy feel of the sponge mattress and water contained within. Now that I have a new dog, I decided to get her one; and she loves this bed! If you get the small size, you can use a standard pillow case as a cover. It's a perfect fit and a lot less expensive than the official covers that are for sale.

The cats were unable to unlatch the front of the cages, one cat is 17 pounds the other is 8 pounds, and each were able to turn around and sit comfortably in the carrier. Any cat owner will tell you, getting them into the carrier was the most difficult task, as there is one entry. The seat belt feature made it easy to remove the carriers from the car to a hotel room.

(More customer reviews)This is a high quality crate. The wires are thick and well put together. The crate does not wobble at all. The removable doors are one of the selling points that led me to buy this. It is hard to find removable doors on crates. Also, I am able to roll the crate in one direction (there are strong rolls of plastic on the bottom wires). It makes cleaning under the cage easy since you do not have to lift it.
Our dog is strong and likes to jump against the crate and is a heavy chewer, yet the crate can stand all the force. I can really see this lasting a very long time. Even the plastic tray is thick. Also, there are no sharp edges. It comes with a DVD that will help you crate your dog (I had no use for it).
If you are buying a crate, spend the extra money and go for the Ultima Pro.

(More customer reviews)I love the soft pink color. Took a bit of time to ship even though I payed extra for the fastest shipping. Crate is so easy to assemble and take down. Carrying case is nice and convient. Dog bed generally doesn't stay in one place but my dog chewed it up anyways. She loves her nice big crate she's a border collie and has plenty of room to stretch out and sleep and stand up, could even hold another smaller dog if I decide to get an addition. The mesh on all four sides is great and it zips up easily. She loves to relax in it and its great to keep her in at night since she likes to get into mischief when I'm asleep! Lol the price is very good and so is the quality! It would even be big enough for a decent size German Shepard. She loves the crate so much I that she hasn't tried to chew it up. But it would not b good for escape artists or probably puppies cause they might try and chew it.

I had a smaller bed that I placed underneath and she is very happy with it. The larger the dog the harder the floor is on their ribs, she sleeps all night now, as before she spent the night trying to fluff up the carpet waking us up. 5/08 Well, the bed didn't hold up so well, the border has holes in it where it has come unsewn, it won't last a year. SORRY.

It does not have screws to hold it together ( it has plastic latches) and it does not have girders on the outside sides to ensure airflow even if something is resting directly up against it. The airline was going to let the screw parts slide if we could secure the latches with zip-ties (which is doable) but the airflow was an insurmountable problem. The crate is fine for home use but DO NOT BUY for airline travel. You are wasting your time and money. I just left mine at the trash at the airport because I now have no use for it. Junk.
