(More customer reviews)I think the puppies will love this crate once they get used to it. It's like a little tent. Should work great in the summer once the snow melts. I love it myself however it's just a tiny bit small for me. In addition the material is really sturdy especially compared to another one I ordered and sent back, plus setting it up is a snap literaly. Pull up and interlock two rods and your good to go. Great product at a great price.

Seems well made, though obviously due to the fabric nature of this item, a dog intent on chewing will be able to work his way out. That's what training and providing other chew toys is all about!

The box was torn but looked like it was done by UPS causing one prong to be bent but it didn't cause any issues with the crate so I let it be. I was amazed at how EASY it was to put together. My last crate created much aggravation, blood, and sweat to put it together so I was expecting the worst. This crate literally unfolded and set up in minutes! I have a very large doberman (110lbs) and he fits nicely with extra room. The only thing I wish is for the doors to be able to be removed. Otherwise I definitely would rate the crate a five and the company a five :) VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

(More customer reviews)If you enjoy spending money on shoddy products made in China, this crate dolly by Mid West is just the ticket. I was surprised to find that the metal tubes are incredibly thin and dent easily (which happened even before I opened the box). The tubes are poorly cut and do not fit into each other properly. The tube welds are very sloppy and in many spots are simply missing, leaving gapping holes that will allow the metal to rust from the inside. Bolts to mount the wheels came loose in the box and are of exceptionally poor quality. Added to that, all the parts smelled very bad (like a nasty solvent). It took 2 weeks of cleaning it to get rid of the smell. Overall, this might be the worst product I have ever bought from anyone, anywhere. It is complete rubbish. I should have returned it but I was going to a tournament and really needed something with wheels. I'd be surprised if this dolly lasts more than a couple of seasons. Beware, this product is complete junk. The fact that Mid West put their name on it tells me that they must be going down the drain and to never buy anything from this company again.

42X28X30 Double Door I-Crate Review

(More customer reviews)I have a large icrate with a divider panel. I do love this crate, however the hooks and edges are very sharp. Today I took the divider panel out so I could collapse the crate to give to friend who is watching my puppy while I'm out of town. I leaned the panel against the bedroom door and my puppy came up to investigate. As she backed up, a hook went COMPLETELY THROUGH HER EYELID. After a couple seconds of her screaming in pain I managed to get her calm enough to carefully slide the hook back out and rush her to the vet. Fortunately the hook did not injure her eye but she has a bloody gash in her eyelid and it's very swollen. She's going to have to be on antibiotics for the next week. Vet visit cost $120, half of which was for the emergency status of the visit and the other half for the antibiotics. The hooks need to be rounded off or filed down.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this crate for my 65 pound chocolate lab / pit bull mix 3 year old who has some speration anxiety issues. She had destroyed 2 previous crates and hurt herself once while trying to escape. This crate is HEAVY DUTY. 80 pounds shipping weight. The construction is nice with welded vertical and horizontal bars. The crate bolts together with included hardware which was nice but could have included a few extra washers. (They only include enough washers to be used on the nut side of the bolts. Went to home depot and got 60 cents in extra washers to do the job right) There were no directions but once you pull everything out its easy to see how to fits together.
I did feel that the locks on the crate were a bit flimsy so I picked up a couple of barrel bolts from home depot as well and bolted them on. I have not noticed any bends in any of the locking mechanisms so I assume that the original locks were strong enough but for 98 cents it was worth the piece of mind. The crate collapses on itself for transport and can bolt together in less then 5 mins with a ratchet and wrench. The only downside is that the crate arrived with a broken weld for the floor of the unit. I used some epoxy from home depot to fix the weld. My dog loves the crate and shes not afraid to go in it and lay down during the evening hours which she never did with the cheep crates from the local pet stores. If you have a dog that likes to abuse their crate or escapes you need this crate.

Item arrived on time, was extremely scratched and did not appear to be new, weighed only 5 lbs. Called UPS to verify cost to ship-estimated under $12. Played phone tag with the customer service department, finally reached after one week. Refunded 30% of the item cost since it was scratched and $20 in shipping charges for the "overcharge" with weight. I expected the item to be extremely durable with a description of 33 lbs but is an extremely flimsy metal. Will work for now.

They have rarely travelled in the car, only short trips to the vet (5 minutes away), so we want to make this trip as painless as possible. I researched many different carriers on many different sites, finally settling on the GoGo X-Small Soft Crate from DigiPet. When these crates arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find the quality was even better than I had expected! Good quality sturdy canvas, heavy duty frame, lots of extras! Also very easy to set up and take apart (product folds down for storage). Our cats jumped right in and went to sleep. Our older cat is 19 lbs., while our younger is about 8 lbs. and both cats fit in the crates with plenty of room to spare. They spend a lot of time in there of their own volition, and we expect our journey to be at least a little easier with them. The price is unbeatable for the quality as well! I cannot say enough about this product. The crates fit in the car nicely as well.

Brand New YML Group Inc Folding Dog Cat Kennel Crate Cage-36" Review

(More customer reviews)When I purchased this cage I was looking for value and quality and thought I had chosen the appropriate one. It "fits" my dog size-wise, but it's not as sturdy as I'd like. There is no grate or flip-up guard across the front to keep the floor pan in place. I've come home day after day to find she's scooted the pan completely out of the cage leaving herself sitting on the carpet and wire floor. There are two hooks on the bottom front on the INSIDE of the cage that could be dangerous for eyes, paws. At first I thought they must be used somehow to anchor the pan, but after much looking and figuring I couldn't see how that could be done so I took them off. The bent wire clips that hold the cage together aren't very strong. My dog has been able to nearly dismantle the cage with herself inside. She can literally "pop" it apart. She just grabs the front wall in her teeth and backs up and the wall pulls inward, un-connecting itself at the clips. I've had to extensively revamp the cage by wiring corners together to make it stable. Granted, it's a "portable" cage and perhaps I should have chosen another model for a permanent one. The folding design is fine, but if you're looking for a house crate that you can set up and leave, this may not be the one. The locks are good, but the tips are not guarded in any way - just cut off metal. I probably should have chosen a more robust model. I was looking for cheap, and that's exactly what I got. It would be suitable for vacations or shows, but not as a permanent every-day crate.

With most of my Amazon reviews I usually have suggestions for improvement. Well, I can't come up with any for this. The price was right too. I bought two of these for my two 7-pound Yorkies. I don't use them for every day. Mostly I wanted them for trips and emergencies. I keep one in the car, even though my dogs ride in booster seats, in case one of them gets injured when we're out hiking or something. And if I need to evacuate the house in an emergency, I can fit both dogs into one crate.
