(More customer reviews)This is a good sized tote for small pets; however, it is of poor design. My pet guinea pig chewed a hole in the mesh after he was in the tote no more than 5 minutes. The quality of the mesh and the placement of the mesh windows can lead to its destruction in no time. Don't waste your money like I did.

(More customer reviews)I am not real happy with the attachment assembly thus far, for use on a motorcycle tank that is. The little pads, that are suppose to go under the buckles don't really stay where they are suppose to, that's if they even end up on the tank in a position to be held down. If you're not careful you can scratch the hell out of your tank. I don't know why they didn't just coat the buckles with a non-scratch substance, and use the pads as well. It's also difficult to tighten the bag attachment assembly down, because it has an adjustment on each side. So, if you pull it really tight on one side, it just loosens on the other side. So, you have to get it where you want it, and tie a knot around the adjustable strap on one side, then you can tighten it down on the other side. It's a terrible design.
They could've just made a piece slightly curved made out of a medium, to hard rubber about 2-3 inches thick. This would lift all attachments away from the tank completely. They just need to make the attachment piece out of a stiffer material like a hard plastic, curved rubber mount underneath that, and have everything ride above the tank protecting it. The straps should only be adjustable on one side, instead of both sides. Having it adjustable on both just makes it impossible to tighten it down enough, for me to feel safe enough to have my pooch riding in it without tying a knot on one side. Then you can get it tight enough to fell safe. It's just a poor, poor design, that obviously wasn't tested out on a motorcycle very well. At least not by someone who cared about their bikes paint job. I use it, but not w/o some modifications to make it work better, and to protect my tank. My dog does love to ride in this carrier, but I'lll only use it in town. I have another carrier I use, if we are going on a longer ride made by T-bags. It's much sturdier attachment, that I would feel safe laying my bike down and still have her pretty well protected.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for transporting a Lovebird. The chemical odor from the vinyl lining was so strong that I hung the carrier outside for over two weeks before the odor dissipated sufficiently that I felt is was safe to put my small bird into the carrier.
Once that was done, the bird enjoyed being in the carrier as she went for her nails trimming.

Another tug, and the second zipper came off. Spent the remainder of the 1hr ride in the car holding the door shut with one hand (while driving stick). Was also incredibly tight for a small bunny - he could barely turn around - and this is a 4 lb MINI rabbit.
Spend the extra $5 and get a hard plastic pet carrier.

(More customer reviews)This is a fabric on the outside, vinyl (for easy cleaning) on the inside, carrier. It's cute and my guinea pig fits great. The only downside is that you need to put a towel or blanket inside because 1) the critters need traction and just slide all over without it 2) if they pee they'll just be sitting in it as the floor is vinyl 3) piggys get nervous and like to hide. I wouldn't plan to leave my piggy in it for a long time, but back and forth to Grandma's house is just fine. (45+ min) I like that it has zippered openings on both ends so I can sneak some veggies into the carrier if needed. The star has a mesh across it so you can visit with your piggy during the ride. My piggy (after 5 uses) is starting to chew on the inside a bit, but I'm still very pleased with this carrier. Give it a try!

(More customer reviews)I bought this for an airline trip with our 6 pound Chihuahua, Rudi. He fit the carrier pretty well, somewhat cramped though, but it does offer plenty of ventilation, and fairly easy access for getting the reluctant pooch in and out of the unit, and has a nicely padded faux sheepskin floor that's removable and washable. The carrier has the right dimensions for under-seat stowage according to most airlines, and it did fit easily under the seat in front of me, even in coach class. However, being a 'soft-sided' design, the 'frame' seems a bit flimsy and doesn't hold its shape but tends to collapse around the occupant, especially when it's carried over the shoulder with the strap. The carrier has mesh expandable pockets and zippers that are useful for bringing a leash, food, water, etc. One of the mesh pockets on my unit popped a seam the first time out--a defective stitch. Overall, for the fair price and passable quality and quick shipping, I think it is a good buy, and will do the job for a few more trips.
