(More customer reviews)I bought this thinking it would work for taking our cat to the vet. I was wrong. The bag is solid, no mesh. To get any light an animal would have to stick its head out. A well behaved small dog might allow itself to be carried in this, but not a cat. Any animal that wanted out of the bag could easily get out.
Also, the bag fits right under the arm.
