(More customer reviews)I purchased this bag to transport a puppy I was adopting from a shelter and needed to fly home. The airline's policy is that the dog needs to be able to stand up and turn around. Unfortunately, the bag was too small for the puppy to do that (and the pup was only 9 lbs). I was advised that I would be turned away at the airport so I had to return the bag and go with a cargo carrier. Unless your dog is very small, this is a waste. The bag is very sturdy, though, but not worth it if the dog cannot travel in it.
