I have used one of these for the past few years for my larger (~12 lb.) cat, and it is completely unlike the rickety PetMate ones that I would feel uncomfortable putting a heavy animal into. My younger cat has also occasionally used it - and I much prefer having her in this carrier. She does not travel well, and often rattles the door on her other carrier; Cayman carriers have hooks that prevent this!!
The sturdiness, quality construction, and hooks for the door all contribute to my ultimate recommendation of this carrier. I would like to get another, so that there is one for each of my cats.
