(More customer reviews)This product looks nice, but it was not designed to be very functional. The top of the carrier does not zip completely closed. To close the top you zip both sides and then there is a button to close the other end (your zip the long sides, and button the loose short side). There is an 6 inch section of the top which is closed with a single button. This allows the pet to reach out of the top on either side of the button. once their paw is out they can just push the zipper down and open the top. Luckily my cat has only escaped indoors. I even tried to tie it closed but they still get out. the only thing you can do with this carrier is sew the top closed and only use the side door.
DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET UNATTENDED IN THIS CARRIER.

CARRIER PET LARGE Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered the green Doskocil #21485 Inter Pet Shuttle. I received a brick colored "Deluxe Pet Porter, Jr."
The green Doskoil #21485 Inter Pet Shuttle I ordered is airline approved, w/wheels, water cups, leash loop, etc. The Pet Porter has none of these extras.
I e-mailed Grady's. They answered:
"Reviewing your order it appears that the listing on Amazon is incorrect. Grady's carries the Pet Porter Jr. Grady's has issued you a full refund on 12/3/10. ...
"Please allow two weeks for the refund to be initiated to Amazon for credit as this is the policy of Amazon." I have now received all my money back. Grady's did a good job. But on Jan.5, 2011, Amazon still has not corrected the product listing.
I hope this review can keep someone else from wasting a couple of weeks by ordering the 'incorrectly listed' product.
I think the Doskocil #21485 Inter Pet Shuttle may be very good. I'm still trying to find one somewhere online. One other site said they carried them but they're not in stock and are back ordered.

(More customer reviews)This soft crate works good for us. It is fairly lightweight and well made. Our 7 month old miniature dachshund puppy went in it immediately and went straight to sleep. No problems. It is much quieter to travel with this soft crate than the metal one we were using. I love the one main handle for carrying it and the side zipped pouch for putting a little food, water, bowl and leash in. I definitely would recommend this product.

Also, they do have an adjustment that keeps them from going in(making the bars shorter in width),but nothing to stop them from going out (wider) and tapping against the side back windows. My 3 year old female lab, who is not even 75 lbs, bent the cross bars the very first time we used it by trying to poke her head through the left side of the barrier. So if you have a dog that will sit in the back and not try to get through, this is the barrier for you.

(More customer reviews)This is a great item for someone who has a small dog like I do. I have a 9 lb toy poodle who loves the outdoors and is very mellow when sitting in the basket riding. I don't have to worry about him trying to jump out of the basket while in motion.
The only bad thing about this basket is that it isn't as stable as I would like. If you go on a surface that isn't smooth the basket will swing from side to side a little which can startle the dog a bit until they get use to it. I don't worry about the basket falling off of the handle bars as it seems to be built well, but I wish I could fasten it more tightly to the bike. Overall, this is a great product that really comes in handy in my life.

(More customer reviews)This is a high quality crate. The wires are thick and well put together. The crate does not wobble at all. The removable doors are one of the selling points that led me to buy this. It is hard to find removable doors on crates. Also, I am able to roll the crate in one direction (there are strong rolls of plastic on the bottom wires). It makes cleaning under the cage easy since you do not have to lift it.
Our dog is strong and likes to jump against the crate and is a heavy chewer, yet the crate can stand all the force. I can really see this lasting a very long time. Even the plastic tray is thick. Also, there are no sharp edges. It comes with a DVD that will help you crate your dog (I had no use for it).
If you are buying a crate, spend the extra money and go for the Ultima Pro.
