(More customer reviews)Bowl seems good enough. For $5 I really can't complain too much. It seems smaller than 48oz, but I have not measured it. The whole bowl is about the size of my Lab's mouth, so it will take some training to get him to drink from it. I left water in it overnight to see if it leaked, by the morning the bowl was moist on the outside but hadn't lost much fluid and didn't leave any puddles.
