GMI PetShield Tubular Travel Barrier Review

(More customer reviews)I was thrilled to find a barrier that I could use with bucket seats. At first I had a hard time getting it to stay in place. Eventually I figured out a little trick. If I pull the barrier towards me and adjust it just a little higher, tighten the knob and then push it into place it's snug enough to stay put. Trying to adjust the height while in place is nearly impossible to make it tall enough to stay in place. The only thing I would change about it is make the top tube just a few inches wider to make less of a gap between the seats. The price is very reasonable. This barrier has definately helped make driving to the dog park safer for me. The dogs stay in the back seat where they should be! If you spend a little time working with it so it's the correct height it should stay in place.

Pet Gear Home 'N Go Soft-Sided Pet Crate, Medium, Blue Sky Review

(More customer reviews)This is a good crate, but it's not made with the best quality of materials. I chose this crate because it was cheaper than many of the other ones and I'm happy with it overall. But, the zippers don't slide very easily and the side supports are more flimsy than other crates I've looked at. It's a crate that works well for temporary settings and it's very lightweight compared to my wire crate -- but, it's not very sturdy, so make sure your dog is well-behaved and doesn't claw at the bottom of the crate.
I do like the fact that three sides have zippers, so you can easily access your dog or drop treats in from the top. There is also a treat bag that comes with it and a place for your dog's ID on the crate. There is a handle on the side for easy transportation when the crate is folded. It also comes with a pad that is soft on one side and slick on the other (so you can use it for hot or cold days), which is nice.
Overall, it's a good crate but it could use a few small improvements. If you're looking for something to stand up to tougher dogs or to use every day, you might want to look for a heavier-duty crate. If you're looking for something to travel with and use on an occassional basis, this is a pretty good bargain.

Lixit Waterboy Travel Water Bowl Review

(More customer reviews)I bought the Waterboy when I needed to make a long-distance drive with my two dogs. I had tried several other products before this one so I was a definite skeptic. (Plus, the darn thing looks unusual if not somewhat silly.)
The Waterboy has far outperformed my expectations and has proven to be more than worth the price. It just doesn't splash and my car travels some rough roads. Had it stayed in my car the whole time, it would still be worth it. But my dogs took to it so well that I made it the permanent waterbowl in my home. This was largely out of necessity, mind you; my Aussie loves to paw at open water bowls which creates a watery mess. With the Waterboy, this problem is eliminated.
So yes, it is portable but I'm getting a second one to have permanently at home and in the car. This is probably my most prized pet product of all time.
One caveat: it's probably not terrific for very large dogs. The water well is somewhat small. But, since it's only the tongue that needs to get down there, it probably is okay. I just wish there was one with a slightly larger opening for bigger dogs.

Remington Soft-Sided Collapsible Kennel, Green Review

(More customer reviews)This soft crate is a good value, especially for large dogs. I have Bernese Mtn Dogs, 85-100 lbs, who are comfortable in these crates (XL size.) The crates are sturdy and fairly easy to set up once you get the hang of assembling the spring-loaded frame connectors. They are compact for travelling and easy to transport, although the heavy canvas material adds some weight. I was looking for crates to set up in a hotel room while travelling that could also be used outdoors, and this was the only one that had all the features I wanted. I think the extra weight is a worthwhile trade off for the quality of the material and other nice details like roll-up covers over the screened doors and windows, reinforced corners, and a soft crate pad sized to fit inside for extra comfort.

Picnic Time Cellar Insulated Six Bottle Wine Tote Review

(More customer reviews)I got this Picnic Time Bag to carry around sample bottles of alcohol for a spirits rep job I was doing. It easily fit six bottles comfortably. Unfortunately, it can not so easily fit many more bottles (up to nine). Although you can cram more bottles into this tote, I would HIGHLY recommend against doing it. The tote is simply not designed for more than six bottles and the weight of the additional bottles can easily burst the seams when picked up.
When filled correctly, the picnic time bag does a great job. It's easy to carry either with the hand or shoulder strap. It's well insulated so it'll keep the bottles relatively cool and it's got a nice front pocket which can double as a small briefcase.
If you've got a need to be carrying around several bottles at a time, this is a superb way of doing it. I highly recommend also getting the Magna Cart Personal Hand Truck which makes carrying this bag around a LOT easier.

(More customer reviews)Love this stroller for my three dogs. Very well designed to use with bikes and as a stroller. I do use it more as a stroller as I have puppies and they can't walk as far. Every time I use it I am impressed at how easy it turns and smoothness of the ride. Only drawback is I wish the colored fabric did not come up so high because it is hard for my puppies to see out but they have adjusted.

(More customer reviews)While I was visiting Puerto Rico in October 1997 I fell in love with a kitten that had been abandoned. When I called the airlines to see if it would be possible to carry my new kitten on the plane WITH ME (she was too small, only 4 weeks old to go in cargo) they recommended that I buy a carrier that could fit under the airplane seat. I had not heard of anything like this, but I went to the closest pet store and asked them if they had one. THEY DID - this very one for less than $20. I bought it and brought her back home with me.
Not only was the carrier a perfect fit under the seat it was a perfect size to sit on top of the seat tray so I could check on her (feed her/comfort her). PLUS I loved that you couldn't really see inside and poke around because it kept her more calm. I have had this carrier since! Nothing has broken! Anytime I had to carry her anywhere (moving, vets, pet-sitters) I used it. In her adult - senior age she was used to it, and although it didn't give her a lot of wiggle room this was by far the best way to transport her. I once used a "new" carrier thinking the extra wiggle room would be appreciated but half way through the drive she peed. Sometimes less is best.
Today I am buying another one so the new kitten doesn't have to share but I still have the 1st one and I will never get rid of it.

Black Quilted Rear Pet Rider Bicycle Basket Seat Review

(More customer reviews)This would be a great dog seat for a larger small dog (15-25 lbs). My dog is 12 lbs with a short stocky build and the seat was much bigger than necessary. It's huge on the back of your bike (sticks out in all directions), and kind of a hassle to mount. That being said, my neighbor's dog weighs 22 lbs and is too big for most dog bike seats - he fit perfectly in this seat and looked awfully comfortable. She bought it from me and it works great for him, although because of the effort to get it securely atached she doesn't use it often. Bottom line, it's not the most convenient, but it's a handy alternative to the smaller seats/baskets if your dog is pushing the weight limit.
